Building Lasting Power Through Community.
When Building J.U.S.T, we had one goal: to be ready. J.U.S.T was born out of the 2020 rebellion as a reaction organization to the brutal lynching of George Floyd. While each founder of J.U.S.T participated in different roles during the rebellion, they each understood the need for a BLACK led organization J.U.S.T follows in the footsteps of great organizations and teachers such as The Black Panther Party, Kwame Ture, Fannie Lou Hamer Kwame Nkrumah, and Ella Baker. J.U.S.T builds with a community first mindset. That is based on being proactive community members.
We Need You!
In order for us to grow effectively, we need you. This grassroots organization is nothing without community input. The time and effort we have put into this organization to sustain it are not for our benefit but for the benefit of us all. Some people believe they guide the people, we believe that people guide us.
Redefining Leadership
The best thing we can do at J.U.S.T is give power. To truly win, we must be committed to one another and building each other up. We do this through community engagements and teach-ins. Do not wait for a leader—become one!
J.U.S.T adopted a modified Black Panther Party Platform.
We believe the platform is still as relevant now as it was in the sixties when it was introduced. We give all credit to those who came before us as we are their ideological off-spring. The updated 10pt program is simply widened to fit all oppressed people. The program will grow overtime as new issues become relevant.
